RATS AND DAGGERS
Rats and Daggers fire off rapid heavy punk projectiles that swell mosh pits on the spot. Live, they are both disarming and exceptionally expressive, with an energy so genuine it bursts straight from the core, turning every blazing set into a much-needed escape from daily drudgery.
Rats and Daggers have previously played at Sonic Whip, Sniester, Valkhof Festival, Offroad, the Black Heart, Melkweg, Ekko, Vera, and many more. They have supported bands such as KNIVES, LIFE, Sprints, Pigsx7, and Screaming Females, and they host their own annual festival, Beware of Banshees: a loud festival that shatters gender norms.
KORTING
With nothing more than a plastic bag full of riffs, burnt-out nerves, and a beat that makes your heartbeat feel like it's wired incorrectly...Rotterdam's newest discount punk band.
BURGER SERVICE
Burger Service (referring to the Dutch word for social security number 'burgerservicenummer') is Jan Tromp's wave/punk project.
In his lo-fi tracks, which range from fast-paced punk to melancholic indie, he sings about childhood memories, everyday frustrations, the bureaucratic grind, being on the road, and being at work.
Everyday notes, often written during work hours.
BUURTBEHEER
Social-housing doom from Oud-Charlois, Rot-ter-dam. Fueled by B-films, their songs are about poverty, war veterans, housing problems and general Rotterdam-Zuid malaise.
