Inner Duo
Start the night by stepping into a gloomy, intimate atmosphere with Inner Duo.
Rotterdam-based musicians Alejandra Rony (double bass) and Helena Sousa (accordion) take you on a musical journey with the warm, deep sounds of the double bass and the lively, expressive tones of the accordion. Their music transcends boundaries: from classical to world music, from tango to contemporary styles, seamlessly blending into a surprising and rich experience.
With their latest project Crossing Classical, Inner Duo brings to life the passionate rhythms of Astor Piazzolla, the elegance of French and Spanish composers, and the vibrant sounds of Latin American and Dutch influences. Come and enjoy this unique combination of instruments in a setting that’s perfect for discovering something new, fresh, and full of character.
Orus Boris
Orus Boris is a coldwave-cr00ner combi-deal spearheaded by Rotterdam-based Paul Mogwitz. He loosely blends wobbly synth sounds with New-Romantics-esque vocals. All wrapped neatly in a package of lo-fi. A possible soundtrack to slow-dance scenes of numerous 80s Italo horror-flicks, long drives through snowy city landscapes and semi-sensual shifts at some factory in the dark.
NEFLELI
NEFLELI will give a twist to the night for all fellow insomianacs presenting new material from her unreleased Greek album combining live electronics, synths, manipulated vocals, and intense beats.
This unsurpassed Rotterdam-based music producer, composer, songwriter and vocalist creates a pop stew for sensitive people who want to dance. Blending experimental pop with electronic elements, weaving in sounds from various eras of Greek music, reflecting her influences from the Balkans and the Mediterranean. She draws inspiration from both personal moments and fictional stories. Her voice is a playground: whispering one moment, rapping the next, often breaking away from the body that sings it.
Tovertrutten make-up booth
Do you want some extra oomph added to your look? Have you missed the classic face sculptures or are you into some spooky clown shit? You’ll be at the right address with the Tovertrutten! Consisting of Pip (@tovernicht) and Jeon (@toverteef_), these familiar faces will go all-out in this next edition of Murphy's circus by providing a make-up booth where you can get a simple retouch or a full makeover.
In the Caricature Monster Portrait Booth Rotterdam-based mixed media artist Daniel Pereira will draw your own caricature portrait on request.
