Community Feedback Session : prototypes for the spatial design of the new anarchive

Dear Roodkapje community,
We need your help.. that is, we want to pick your brains and consult your feelings about something dear to our hearts: the new environment for our anarchive. In March, we launched an Open Call looking for brilliant artist-designers who would be interested to work with us in the long breath. The commission? To design and build an exhibition and gathering space to hold, display and activate our anarchive, the exhibition that we've been slowly developing since last year. Many creative minds applied and our jury, consisting of Carine Zaayman, Manique Hendricks, Jeanne van Heeswijk and Dennis Muñoz Españada, had their work cut out for them. After careful deliberation, they presented us with a short list of three: duo Hilde Onis and Jasmijn Muskens, Yara Valente and Leyla Hepsaydir. And so we enter phase 2: making and presenting prototypes, that translate the artist-designers' vision from paper to material.
All participants receive a small budget towards the design and production of these prototypes. On Thursday 15th of May, they will present their prototypes to you, Roodkapje's community of volunteers, significant others, residents, regular visitors, staff and whatever curious creature that wanders in that night. After presentations of each prototype, it's time to give us your feedback. Your opinions will weigh heavy for the final decision made by Roodkapje's office staff.
