The Rotterdam Illustration Festival: we’re here to gatebreak the illustration world with real talk and honest insights. Step out of your studio life and join us for fun, community-building activities, engaging and useful workshops, eye-opening talks, a buzzing market full of publishers ready to connect, and plenty of opportunities for being inspired. It’s all about sharing truths, creating opportunities, and building a stronger illustration community.

All ticket prices include access to talks, market, and community activities as well as hidden fees from external platforms. Please note that workshops require a small € 5 fee to secure your spot and ensure you're committed to attending.

ABOUT
The Rotterdam Illustration Festival is an initiative of Carmen José, Michael van Kekem, and Rachel Sender. They’re illustrators and educators. This festival is a response to the feedback they’ve heard loud and clear: illustrators want to feel more connected and less alone in the freelance world. We believe that by coming together, whether it's to learn, share, or discuss, we can all grow together. That’s why the festival is all about gatebreaking; tearing down walls and opening doors, instead of gatekeeping.
This is your space to meet like-minded creatives, swap stories, and find inspiration.
