In the spring of 2018, French-American brothers Elliott and Virgile Arndt brought Faux Real to life. This group combines influences from pop, glam rock and contemporary boy band R&B with a touch of humor and a fresh look at modern pop culture. All this is reflected in peculiar electro-pop songs that always surprise the listener. With idiosyncratic French-English poetry, an almost karaoke-like sound and always matching outfits, Faux Real embraces absurdism as a lifestyle.
The duo have released a handful of singles and a self-titled EP so far and have already secured performances at festivals such as Best Kept Secret and Eurosonic, where they enchant audiences with glamour, wonder and confusion. These brothers can actually guarantee good times and positive vibes, and they will definitely bring them to Rotterdam!
