Cousin Tony’s Brand New Firebird is one of Australia’s favorite indie bands. Having cut their teeth in famous rock n roll pubs, they know how to live the life and live it good. Their refreshing take on modern day indie interfaces with Nick Cave as well as disco and something like U2, creating an enigmatic mix between cult and mainstream. Cousin Tony’s music feel light and hopeful, as the end of a great summer or a fantastic sing-a-long at a music festival. That cheerful mood is represented in all of their three albums, but there is nothing like seeing them live!
