Space Stimulate Is a special night with performances, Indonesian food (limited availability) and an OPEN MIC for singers, poets, writers and spoken word artists who want to participate and share their art. On this day we reflect on constructed scenarios and colliding worlds of diaspora and migration. We invite you to eat with us and be confronted with simultaneous performances & happenings in the room! The food will be cooked by Ratri, who will be preparing Indonesian delights and delicacies!
This event is part of “along along” the exhibition of Hamburger Community resident, Ratri Notosudirdjo. Ratri explores the narratives in relation to the diasporic and migrative body and how the abundance of the body can form the locality of a migrating reality.

ABOUT CHARLOTTE VAN DE GRAAFF
Charlotte is a video-artist and poet. Her work explores the intra’action between the relationship with her mother… as a ghost and symbol of feminine mystique… as a body of absence in her life… and long lost notions of her Motherland… redirecting ; home.
ABOUT VALERIE VAN DER STRATEN
Valerie is a Dutch/Chilean poet who gets inspired by the wordplay of different languages. Her passionate and sensual poems originate from her Spanish mother tongue, while her mystical/spiritual poems are expressed in English. The direct and blunt dutch language works well to make a statement or use some sense of irony. She likes to combine natural elements into her poems and performs this in an eloquent and melodic way.

ABOUT NIEK VAN DEN DRIESSCHEN
Niek van den Driesschen is the dude of Far Out Sound / Duct Tape Studio, as a multi-instrumentalist and sound engineer he’s always jamming and recording.
ABOUT BART VAN DER BLOM
Bart van der Blom is a musician / muti instrumentalist and a record collector. He likes to mix up records with alot of different genres.
ABOUT CHYPKO FLOWERS
Flor is a musician, singer-songwriter from Peru based in Rotterdam.
She works with different projects such as BED, Chypko Flowers, and Whooom.
ABOUT LOVETH BESAMO
Loveth is a producer, composer, singer and guitarist from The Netherlands. He migrated to the Netherlands from Cameroon in 2014 where he consolidated his love for music. Loveth's own genre bending music is a merger of genres ranging from afro rock, jazz, post-punk, soul, and rhythms he grew up listening to and playing in church back in Cameroon.
