CONCERT | Bergur Anderson & The Transmitters — Night Time Transmissions album release performance
CONCERT | PERFORMANCE | ALBUM RELEASE | NIGHT TIME TRANSMISSIONS w/ Bergur Anderson & The Transmitters, support act: Kimberly Clark
Welcome to the world of Night Time Transmissions — here/hear: the anxious calls of sleepless tenants, interdisciplinary collaborations, night walks, urgent canons and chants of cosmic healing. Bergur Anderson's first album is an ode to the voice, and a deep dive into the rich waters of polyphony and polyphonic storytelling.
Bergur Anderson is a Rotterdam-based artist from Reykjavík, Iceland; whose practice is essentially concerned with the relationship between the singing voice and the speaking voice; past and ongoing modes of storytelling; and the agency polyphony has in constructing oral narratives. He works primarily with sound, performance and installation, fabricating the ephemera and fictional qualities of orality into material, time-based and published works.

Kimberly Clark is the musical side project by Brussels-based artist Nele Möller. She performs melancholic guitar songs made of endless loops in D minor, overlaid with crooked voices — playing with the same naivety of when you were heading to your first Labour Day demonstration as a fifteen-year-old teen. She traces a late-puberty melancholy that creates sugar in your stale beer.

Night Time Transmissions is released on Brussels-Rotterdam based label Futura Resistenza
Ticket € 8,- (incl. servicekosten)
