**The Project**
Community Sculpting is a project that consists of multiple sculpting workshops for and by trans people. On November 7 the first workshop of a possible series will take place.
The ultimate goal would be to make 1400 red sculptures. This is a symbolic number to visualize the problem with the waiting list for trans healthcare in the Netherlands. 1400 represents the amount of people on the waiting list right now.
The main focus of the project however is: meeting new people, having fun and making something beautiful together.
**What are we going to do in the workshop?**
The workshop starts at 17:00. I will explain a bit about ceramics and we will talk about other art projects centering community care or activism. Then we will work on the project, eat and get to know each other! The food is free, vegan and prepared by Denise and me.
