Futura Resistenza
Futura Resistenza is a label and platform from Brussels and Rotterdam, that operates somewhere on the border between performance, music and visual arts. Roodkapje asked the label to program a series of concerts in our venue. Throughout this year Futura Resistenza invites musicians and artists who already have a connection with the label, as well as people who they simply admire and want to see perform.

Sofi Naufal is a British-Lebanese musician and writer originally from London. Using voice, guitar and urban field recordings, her music plays with structure, time, and melody within the folk tradition to create an emotionally charged and curious sonic space. Her performances are intense, hypnotic and sometimes funny as she deals unflinchingly with the harsh realities of contemporary life.

Some of the most gentle, expressive music coming from the Belgian underground surely can be found in the work of MIAUX (pronounce as ‘MIO’), the operating handle of Sarajevo born Belgian Mia Prce. ‘MIAUX is a mistress of elaborate keyboard shenanigans of a very soundtrackly nature. It is soaked with a haunted, lonely quality that touches the edges of mystery like a torch. It's easy to imagine a Jodorowsky carnival scene, shot like the opening of Welles' Touch of Evil, while her albums spin.’ – Byron Coley
KUNTARI
Named their genre as Primal-core, KUNTARI experimented with primitive voices producing animal mating calls mixed with a tons variation of Indonesian tribal rhythms. The music produced percussive primal sound with dark ambients, a solid of two individuals with Intense dynamic of heavy ancient beats. KUNTARI album in2021 has been chosen as Best Album of the Year by Jakarta Post and 2nd Best Album of theYear by Vice in 2022.

Leonard Prochazka is a conceptual artist whose work consistently revolves around a central theme. In his new project archetype, he channels an abstract scream for something fragile, exploring personal experiences within a polarizing society and the isolation that accompanies it. The music contrasts digitized precision with bold hooks and dramatic vocals, evoking elements of industrial trip-hop and post-punk electronics. Archetype’s debut album, “The Ick,” was released on Knekelhuis Records earlier this year.
He will perform together with Tornato on visuals.
