It is time! On the 28th of March 2026 we are officially opening a new location!
Right now we are surrounded by amazing builders and volunteers turning the new space into a cosy and wild new house.
On Saturday, March 28th, Roodkapje will inaugurate its new home with a wild and varied program spread throughout the building from 18:00 till 06:00. In the Café, bands like Min Taka, The Sweet Release of Death, Loveth Besamoh, M.U.G., and Library Card will bring the stage to life. In the LAB, performances can be seen by artists including SAMODIVA; sp3llxlocket, Lui Surreal, and soма (TREVOGA).
The new exhibition space of the anarchief will officially open with performances by Ratri Notosudirdjo and Rizqita Naherte.
Happenings and interventions will appear throughout the building, and the risoprint studio will be open to the public.
We’ll close the night with dancing sets from Guenter Råler, Camy Huot, and DJ Shahmaran, ensuring the party continues until the early hours. We’ll also be ringing in spring that night, with clocks going forward an hour, welcoming more sun into our lives!
One ticket unlocks a night full of fun at both Roodkapje’s Housewarming and our new neighbour Brutus during their Rotterdam Art Week Afterparty.

As is so often the case, the finishing touches are the hardest: there are still (literal) holes to be filled and spaces to be finished. That’s why we’ve launched a crowdfunding campaign to help us make the final steps towards opening possible. Will you help by donating and/or spreading the word?
Two locations for a little while
Our central location at Delftseplein 39 served as a meeting place for many years, along with our beloved Burgertrut (R.I.P.). Before the Schieblock evicts all cultural places, we will continue to use this location as long as possible in 2026.
We are differentiating our temporary double locations and addresses by calling them ‘Roodkapje Centraal’ and ‘Roodkapje West’. We will mark every event with the location name, trying to create as little confusion/running around the city as possible.

Roodkapje West = Future location = Keileweg 10A
