'Mag ik in uw OORSCHELP tuimelen?'
with Loma Doom, Elina Tapio, Fani Konstantinidou, Nancy Phantom

An ode to Delia Derbyshire, who made the iconic soundtrack to your dreams.
Starting each act with a part of her work: 'The Dreams'
With unconventional and EARie DJing, shivery soundscapes and also featuring the band that played in your fever dreams last night.

I'm tumbling down the shallow depths of your eardrum
and stumble upon a friendly snail.
It seems she has nested in your squeaky skull.

Tuning into your dreams at night
(she might be the one who whispers them to life)

Slimy dreams,
snotty nightmares.
Trying to run,
to scream.

But suddenly,
you're falling upright.

A complete feeling of space
and nothingness...

Loma Doom
Loma Doom, a true radio veteran and beacon of twisted and mesmerizing sounds. Whether you experience her musical activities or those relating to her contemporary arts practice, curiosity is a
key aspect gracing Femke Dekker (real name). As Loma Doom, her signature style revolves around electronic experimentalism, both for mind and movement, seeking the outliers, one that avoids linearity, towards a space where intuition and understanding meet. Actively incorporating styles predating the computer era, she sources from her fondness for freak folk, psychedelic and hardcore punk. This openness veered Femke into a category of respected deejays in the leftfield underground, having played influential spots such as Salon Des Amateurs, Meakusma and Dekmantel, amongst others. Using radio and archives as her main media, her current focus is on various notions of listening and how listening is actually a call to action.

Fani Konstantinidou
Fani Konstantinidou is a composer and performer interested in the sonic imprints of cultural and cross-cultural identities. She composes electronic music based on urban, rural, and digital sonic environments often combined with conventional musical instruments. Her music is characterized by shifting sonic textures that circulate between drones, noise, arrhythmic melodies, and atonal rhythms. Through her work she explores the antithesis between analog versus digital, and she exploits the potential of musical time and space through site-specific and multichannel performances.

Nancy Phantom

Nancy Phantom is an improvisation band that started in January 2023. Members are Ärkan Nordin, Sara Campos and Josefina Gilardi. They are looking to create intimate experiences and fleeting compositions.

Elina Tapio

Amsterdam-based, Finnish-born Elina Tapio is a DJ/radio maker/sonic researcher with a touch for dark, cerebral sets infused by industrial atmospheres and psychedelic rhythms. Her style is rooted in her interest in sound studies and philosophy, weaving contemplative narratives unfolding as disembodiment and estrangement. She is a resident at Mutant Radio (GE) since 2021 co-hosting the series “Scrying the Landscape” with Hannah Pezzack and 1/3rd of axia maxim on Echobox (NL) alongside Julia Mira and Vanja Rakic. Some recent local club appearances include Garage Noord, The Grey Space in the Middle, Radio Radio, in addition international ones at Traumburg (DE), Sameheads (DE) and Flow Festival (FI)
