Kunstbende Zuid-Holland: the value of cultural education
Kunstbende has been supporting young people in their cultural development since 1991. We are the creative platform for everyone from 13 to 19 years old. Names such as Trijntje Oosterhuis, Kalvijn, Claudia de Breij, Stefano Keizers, Abdelkader Benali and Douwe Bob come from the Kunstbende breeding ground.
We present, among other things, a spoken word performance, a film and music made by the Kunstbende youth.
An in-depth workshop will also be given (limited number of places) by pedagogue Nadia Hagenbeek on how you can connect with young people and what works when you offer art and culture lessons.
Of course there is plenty of time during the walk-in and in between to network with each other. We end the day with spoken word artist Elten Kiene, about the value of cultural education for young people. Then it's time for a snack, a drink and a nice chat.
