Katya Shirshkova
Born in Siberia but based in France, Katya Shirshkova uses her own voice to create hypnotizing polyphonic harmonies with layered compositions and dense performances. For Minorie she will perform her piece 'Le Héron', which was released on Stellage in 2025.

'Le Héron' is a vocal only piece consistsing of four parts, each carrying its own symbol of a life period. These life periods refer to the images of different birds, a way of narrating that connects to old archetypes from legends and fairytales. In this sense 'Le Héron' creates a strong relation with folk traditions, which influence can be recognised throughout the piece. But above all, it is the intricately layered sound of her one-voice-one-looper choir that makes the experience so hauntingly beautiful.

Katya Shirskova has performed extensively throughout Europe but this is the first time she will perform in The Netherlands. A collaborative album with Roxane Métayer - who performed at Minorie in September 2025 - was released on Edições CN in June 2026.

Koude

The subdued music of Koude draws from meandering folk, slowcore, ambient and drone, folding these elements together with a quiet patience that resists easy categorization. Michiel Klein, Keimpe Koldijk and Ester Venema are building on their previous collaborations in acts such as Blessum (Vrystaete), Eklin (Night People) and Mike Koldin (Samling). The trio works with electric guitars, bass guitar, synthesizers, sparse percussion and occasional voice.

Katya Shirshkova
Geboren in Siberië maar woonachtig in Frankrijk gebruikt Katya Shirshkova haar eigen stem om hypnotiserende polyfonische harmonieën en gelaagde composities te creëren. Met behulp van een looper legt ze meerdere lagen van haar eigen stem over elkaar heen, wat spookachtige resultaten oplevert. Tijdens deze avond zal het stuk 'Le Héron' uitvoeren, in 2025 uitgebracht door het label Stellage.


'Le Héron' is een compositie bestaand uit vier delen waarbij elk deel een eigen symbool bevat voor een levensfase. Deze fases wordt naar verwezen door middel van verschillende vogels, een manier van vertellen waarbij gebruik wordt gemaakt van oude archetypen uit legendes en sprookjes. Op deze wijze wordt een sterke link gelegd naar volkstradities, waarvan de invloed duidelijk herkenbaar is.

Katya Shirshkova heeft al uitvoerig opgetreden en getourd door Europa maar dit is de eerste keer dat ze Nederland aandoet. Een samenwerking met Roxane Métayer - die in september 2025 al eens optrad bij Minorie - verscheen bij Edições CN in juni 2026.

Koude
In de verstilde muziek van Koude komen elementen van meanderende folk, slowcore, ambient en drone op indringende wijze samen. Michiel Klein, Keimpe Koldijk en Ester Venema borduren hiermee verder op hun eerdere samenwerkingen in acts als Blessum (Vrystaete), Eklin (Night People) en Mike Koldin (Samling). Het trio maakt gebruik van elektrische gitaar, basgitaar, synthesizers en spaarzaam percussie en vocalen.
