Listening to MADMADMAD can be wonderfully disorienting, a sensation mirrored in the collage-like, homemade visual art that accompanies their music. With spring-loaded rhythms and jagged synth lines, their intoxicating electro plunges deep into the worlds of mutant disco and early electronic music. The trio crafts a mesmerizing, ever-shifting sound, drawing inspiration from otherworldly tones, early 2000s electro, and the raw dance-punk energy of late 1970s and early 1980s New York.
With three full-length albums under their belt, MADMADMAD has firmly established themselves as constant innovators. Their upcoming EP promises another surprising turn: Chemical Brothers-inspired textures, Bollywood-tinged guitar riffs, ominous basslines, and laser-focused chaos that will ignite dancefloors
This concert/event has standing places. At the back of the room there are blocks to sit on. It is always possible to create a seat, speak to us and we will place a bar stool next to the sound engineer or a folding chair along the stage for you. There are free earplugs at the bar.

Het luisteren naar MADMADMAD kan heerlijk desoriënterend zijn, een gevoel dat ook terugkomt in de collageachtige, zelfgemaakte visuele kunst die hun muziek begeleidt. Met springerige ritmes en hoekige synthlijnen duikt hun bedwelmende electro diep in de werelden van mutant disco en vroege elektronische muziek. Het trio creëert een betoverend, steeds veranderend geluid, geïnspireerd door buitenaardse klanken, elektro uit de vroege jaren 2000 en de rauwe dancepunkenergie van New York eind jaren zeventig en begin jaren tachtig.
In hun drie uitgebrachte albums heeft MADMADMAD zichzelf stevig gepositioneerd als voortdurende vernieuwers. Hun aankomende EP belooft opnieuw een verrassende wending: Chemical Brothers-achtige texturen, Bollywood-getinte gitaarriffs, onheilspellende baslijnen en lasergerichte chaos die dansvloeren in vuur en vlam zal zetten
Dit concert heeft staanplaatsen. Achter in de zaal staan blokken om op te zitten. Het is altijd mogelijk om een zitplaats te creëren, spreek ons aan en we zetten een barkruk voor je neer naast de geluidstechnicus of een klapstoel langs het podium. Er zijn gratis oordopjes verkrijgbaar aan de bar.
