The World of Dust is the main outlet by musician and collage artist Stefan Breuer, based in Bilthoven (a small village near Utrecht, The Netherlands). The World of Dust makes bedroom folk with a lo-fi touch, proggy at times, slightly psychedelic and with a lot of layers. The songs are peaceful, warm and gentle, with lush arrangements, acoustic guitars and casio keyboards. His musical approach reminds one of other do-it-yourself recording artists like Mount Eerie, Sparklehorse, Robert Wyatt and Guided By Voices. Collages and music go hand in hand, creating a new, colorful world. During the live shows, visuals enhance this mystical mood.
Holden Goldmund was once the name for the solo outing of Jacco van Elst (also of This Leo Sunrise, The Fire Harvest), but has recently evolved into a power three-piece. First hello as a band comes from a split 12″ LP with Belgian indierock band Taïfun. They are fans of great bands that don’t care about anything at all, like The Meat Puppets, Silver Jews, Tropical Fuck Storm, The Modern Lovers, The Feelies, etc.
LOGOUT Singer/songwriter and producer LOGOUT merges traditional folk songs with experimental, electronic instrumentation. In a live setting, he uses loops, samples and video art to create a captivating whole. His third album N91º will appear on Tiny Room Records early 2019. The one-man orchestra of this friendly Amsterdam-based Greek reminds one of a marriage between Casiotone for the Painfully Alone and a poppy Xiu Xiu with Greek folk melodies.
Howart is the project of multidisciplinary artist Anneke Nieuwdorp, where she combines experimental and exciting ambient soundscapes with poppy melodies. The extraordinary self-titled debut album came out on Tiny Room Records in 2018. On stage, Anneke is accompanied by Dave Mollen (drums), Gino Miniutti (bass) and Stefan Breuer (guitar, vocals), creating a mix of psychedelica, kraut and noise pop.
