Post- apocalyptic Institute for Nature and Science History
Oskar Maan (NL)
The Post-apocalyptic Institute for Nature and Science History (PINSH)
is an institute that preserves visions of the future on to the present.
Water plants waiting on resurrection, echoes from the present and an oracle searching for shakespeare will show that a dystopian future is in need for a self-documented present.
The PINSH finds it important that the current present is documented, because this present is afflicted by financial, economic and social crises and a pessimism fed by maya-calendars and inconvenient truths.
Therefore the Institute has selected six dystopian, post-apocalyptic visions on the future. These visions form guidance to interpret the present. By means of several artist impressions, installations and images the PINSH prepares the future for the present.
